Welcome to 2025!
Welcome to 2025!
Happy New Year, Technology Leaders! Welcome to the very first newsletter of 2025. This year promises to be an exciting journey, filled with inspiring events, transformative opportunities, and the chance to grow together as a community. Are you ready to continue your journey with the Technology Leaders Club and take your ambitions to the next level?
We’ve already started the year strong with an invaluable private dinner discussion in Utrecht covering the topic “Cultivating a Robust Security Culture in 2025.” During the evening, our delegates delved into balancing human behaviour and organisational strategies while enjoying a delicious dinner. The event seamlessly combined gourmet dining with high-level networking and thought-provoking discussions on cutting-edge security practices. And it’s not over yet.
Later this month, we’ll wrap things up with a trip to Amsterdam for another private dinner roundtable to discuss “Navigating the Evolution of IT: The Critical Role of Observability Today and Path Towards its Future State.”
Watch this space as we introduce brand-new experiential events that will take networking and learning to new heights (spoiler alert: we might be talking crown jewels and helicopter rides – yes, really!). What are your goals for 2025? What do you hope to achieve as a member of our thriving club? Let’s make this the year we boost and supercharge our shared successes to unprecedented heights.

Reflecting on the Unforgettable 20th Anniversary White Hat Ball
We were proud to once again support the White Hat Ball 2025 this month, a remarkable event raising funds for NSPCC Childline. This year, we donated some exciting auction prizes, including private box experiences at Wembley to see Oasis and Coldplay – a treat for music lovers!
The event raised an incredible £410,000 for NSPCC Childline, an achievement made possible by the tireless work of the committee members, NSPCC volunteers, and Childline staff who dedicate themselves to supporting vulnerable children.
We were amazed at the generosity of the security community, who attended the event and supported the cause. The evening served as a poignant reminder of why Childline’s work is so vital, especially as we heard awe-inspiring stories like that of Roxy, whose bravery highlighted the critical impact of this charity.
